We last confirmed it 36 days ago, which is past our own re-check deadline for this kind of offer.
A one-time $100 payment to Alberta adults who filed a 2025 return and had household income of $225,000 or less. Recipients of the Alberta Seniors Benefit, AISH, ADAP and Income Support are enrolled automatically and need to do nothing.
The catch: Applications close 30 September 2026. You need a verified Alberta.ca Account, your SIN and your spouse's details, and a filed 2025 return - the return is the part that takes time if you have not done it.
Do these first
File a tax return, even with no income
required A filed 2025 return is a stated condition of eligibility.
Filing is what turns on the GST/HST credit, the Canada Child Benefit, the Alberta Child and Family Benefit and the income-tested provincial rebates. None of them pay out to someone who has not filed.
Verify your Alberta.ca Account
required Applications go through a verified Alberta.ca Account.
Identity verification on an existing Alberta.ca Account. This is the step that lets a provincial payment actually reach you.
