Alaska low-income hunting, fishing and trapping licence

Alaska Department of Fish and Game

A resident hunting, fishing and trapping licence at a nominal fee for lower-income Alaska residents, in place of the standard resident combination licence.

The catch: Income-tested and it must be requested - the discount is not applied at the counter unless you ask and can show you qualify. For a subsistence household this is one of the highest-value low-effort entries in the state, and it is also one of the least advertised.
