An annual cash payment to Alaska residents from the state's resource royalty fund. It is not income-tested and not needs-based: residency and a filed application are the whole test, which makes it the broadest single cash entitlement in this catalog.
The catch: The amount for the current year is not announced when the application window opens, so you apply without knowing what you are applying for - the page carried only the 2025 figure when it was read. The application window is fixed and short, and missing it forfeits the year entirely: there is no late filing and no retroactive claim. Residency rules are stricter than they look, and time spent outside Alaska has to be accounted for.
