Search Alaska unclaimed property

Alaska Department of Revenue Unclaimed Property Program

A free search of property held by the State of Alaska for owners who could not be found - dormant accounts, uncashed cheques, deposits, insurance proceeds and similar.

The catch: The public search is a JavaScript application with no readable terms behind it, so what a claim actually requires is not published where a reader can see it before starting. Expect to prove identity and, for anything inherited, authority over an estate. As everywhere else: the state charges nothing, so a finder asking for a percentage is charging you for a free search.
