A free career-readiness programme through participating Alabama community colleges leading to the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate, the Alabama Certified Employee credential, and one free college course of up to four credit hours.
The catch: The free course is the part with real money in it and it comes last - after completing the training and the assessments. Enrolment contacts and schedules are set by each participating college rather than centrally, so what is available depends on which college is near you.
