Canada Disability Savings Grant - up to $3,500 a year
Employment and Social Development Canada
Matches RDSP contributions at rates up to 300%, to as much as $3,500 in a year. Unused grant entitlement from up to ten previous eligible years can be carried forward and caught up.
The catch: This is matched money, not free money - the top rate only applies to the first slice of contribution, so the $3,500 needs your own deposit behind it. Payable only to the end of the year the beneficiary turns 49, same as the bond.
