CRA uncashed cheques

Government of Canada cheques never expire. CRA My Account lists refunds, credits and benefit cheques issued more than six months ago and never deposited, with a pre-filled replacement request for each one.

The catch: You can only see this from inside CRA My Account, which is itself gated behind having filed. An estate representative can check on behalf of someone who has died, with the authorization already in place.

Register for CRA My Account required Uncashed cheques are only visible from inside CRA My Account.
The only place uncashed federal cheques, benefit eligibility and RESP/RDSP contribution room are visible. Registration is free.

    The list and the pre-filled replacement request both live inside My Account.
