Up to $10,000 in non-dilutive funding for Alberta technology companies to design or develop an innovative technology solution: engineering, prototype development, product testing, patent development, market assessment and certification.
The catch: The continuous intake closed on 29 May 2026 at 4:00 PM MDT and has not reopened. Alberta Innovates is part-way through a comprehensive program review and several programs are temporarily not accepting applications. Existing agreements are unaffected and applications made before the deadline are still being reviewed. When it is open, you fund at least 25 per cent of eligible project costs in cash.
