A one-time City of Calgary pilot helping businesses within one block of 2024 Main Streets construction in Marda Loop and Bridgeland prepare for the disruption and keep customers coming through it.
The catch: Closed. Applications were accepted between 20 June 2024 and 31 October 2024 only. The evaluation concluded in March 2026 and went to Council, so a successor is plausible but not announced. Construction-disruption grants recur wherever a road is torn up, which is the reason to keep watching this one rather than the reason to apply to it.
